About the Internship / COOP Education Program
The Global Merit & Essence Awards Network (GMEAN) Internship / Cooperation Education Program is an integral part of our Youth Engagement Program, offering University, College and High School students a terrific way to gain valuable and professional work experience.
Interns / COOP students will have the opportunity to work in areas such as: Marketing, Media Relations, Social Media, Research, Entertainment, Event Management, General Administration, etc. Priority will be given, but not limited, to students who are looking to fulfill their credit requirements.
The Internship / COOP Program will run for the school term of September to June, and divided into 2 semesters, with an intake of 10 students per semester. There will also be an opportunity for a summer program for an additional 10 students and this will be based on a prior agreement with each school
At the successful completion of The Internship / Coop Program the organization will provide each student with a letter of reference and Certificate of Completion that can be used as future job reference. Five (5) students will also be given the opportunity to remain with the organization in the capacity of “youth mentors” for future enrollees and to participate in GMEAN’s Youth Engagement Initiative. Other students may choose to volunteer at future galas or events hosted by our organization.
